Research

IO.IN Research is dedicated to conducting both basic and applied research in computer science and software engineering. Its goals are to enhance the user experience on computing devices, reduce the cost of writing and maintaining software, and invent novel computing technologies.

Development

IO.IN Development is the product development branch of IO.IN. The projects which have stood the test of time in IO.IN Research, or have matured to a stage where they can be considered release-quality will eventually make their way into this department.

This section includes only projects currently being actively developed. No warranty is given for these projects.

• Onlink - A full conversion mod of Introversion Software's hit game, Uplink
• CrissCross - A lightweight cross-platform C++ library for threading, I/O, CPU Identification (CPUID), and sockets (TCP/IP and UDP/IP).
